Green Label of Environmental Protection Administration (EPA)

Introduction

In order to meet the needs of the green consumer market, ETC was selected by the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan on October 30, 2012 as the certification authority for the "Environmental Protection Product Certification Project", and can perform the certification of the Environmental Protection Label of the Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan from November 1, 2012.


The EPA's Green Label is a voluntary label that provides domestic consumers with information on whether the products they buy are "recyclable, low-pollution and resource-efficient".

Application Procedure and Relevant Information
Service Scope/ Contents
  • Applications for the Green Label must be made in accordance with the product specifications of the Green Label announced by the Environmental Protection Administration.
  • Category 2 environmental protection products are products that are not covered by the Environmental Protection Administration's (EPA) environmental labeling standards, but whose raw materials are obtained, produced, sold, used and disposed of in a manner that is reduced, reusable, recyclable, low-polluting, energy-saving, resource-saving or environmentally friendly.
