Certification for Low-power RF Equipment of National Communication Commission (NCC)

Introduction

In accordance with the announcement of the Directorate General of Telecommunication of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (transformed into the National Communications Commission since 2006), ETC was commissioned to handle the validation of low-power RF equipment since 10 June 2004, marking a milestone in the APEC TEL MRA's "Second Phase of Mutual Recognition of Certification Organizations and Mutual Acceptance of Equipment Validation Procedures".

Service Scope/ Contents

Low-power RF Equipment :

  • Low power RF equipment operating below 1GHz (inclusive), except for wireless information transmission equipment or equipment using frequency hopping or digital modulation
  • Low power radio equipment operating at frequencies above 1 GHz, except for wireless information transmission equipment or equipment using frequency hopping or digital modulation.
  • Wireless information transmission equipment or low power radio equipment using frequency hopping or digital modulation.
