(ETC is commissioned by DGT for approving the certificate of TTE) Application Process
Application Interpretation 1. In order to obtain the test report, the application for TTE testing shall be submitted the equipment sample to the BSMI or its recognized testing laboratories (RTL). 2. Those who apply for compliance approval with regard to "sale use" TTE should complete application form and submit it together with copies of related identification and technical documents to ETC. If necessary, ETC may require the applicant to submit an equipment sample. 3. After examination, if application form, copies of identification and technical documents attached to the application package are incomplete, or the information contained therein is inadequate, the applicant should be requested to supplement the deficiencies within 2 months on receipt of the ETC's notification. Once the applicant fails to respond the notification or provide the required documents within the prescribed time frame, the application shall be turned down. 4. When the application has failed the compliance approval, the ETC shall list the items of failure and notify the applicant to supplement the deficiencies and apply for secondary examination to the original ETC within 3 months upon the receipt of the notification. If the applicant fails to apply for secondary examination or pass secondary examination within the prescribed time frame, ETC shall turn down the application. Remark: All requirements of TTE compliance approved are followed the " Compliance Approval Regulations of Telecommunications Terminal Equipment" issued by the Directorate General of Telecommunications (DGT) of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC). |
