The center was accredited as a product certification body by both CNAB (Chinese National Accreditation Board) and DGT(Directorate General of Telecommunication, Republic of China) in Oct. 2001, and entrusted by DGT to carry out the certificate of telecommunication terminal equipments for import and domestic sales from the first of 2002(TPKM joined WTO on 2002.1), to assist the government to keep the market in fair, This has had a positive meaning for domestic market sales order and to set into action for the Mutual Recognition Agreement among countries.
